Review on 🎶 Fluance RT85 Reference High Fidelity Vinyl Turntable with Ortofon 2M Blue Cartridge - Piano White by Wayne Laguna

Might be a great turntable, I'll never know. I've only owned it for 30 days. When a friend came to visit me and CAREFULLY placed the album cover on top of the "acrylic" cover, I thought nothing of it. The cleaning lady came the next morning and I watched her carefully remove it. Either putting the album cover on or removing it from the plastic left a few scratches. Yes they are small and hard to see but I have had 3 other high quality turntables and although I have always cleaned them with a microfiber cloth and non-ammonia cleaners I have never seen anything like this. Instead of returning the table and saying something was wrong, I contacted the company to try to purchase a replacement cover or at least pay for shipping. They wanted $50 for another unnecessary cover. This is their most expensive 30 day old table at $500. They should have offered some help but it wasn't offered at all. I could just return it and claim a defect. Lesson learned about honesty. I boxed it up to sell used and will no longer be dealing with this "typical" internet company.
