At first I thought they were better than the crappy picks I always buy at the dollar store. They felt "more substantial" - thicker plastic, more durable to the touch. Lo and behold, after about a week of light use, everything falls apart, just like the cheap ones. How hard is it to get them to stay together? Oh wait, if they did, a mop would last forever and they'd all go broke. Talk about planned obsolescence! How much plastic ends up in our oceans and landfills from products NOT specifically designed to last?
