So far so good. For my fellow road bikers; My first ride with them was around 44 degrees and they did a great job of protecting my ears from the wind and heat. My average cruising speed is about 24 mph, and my max is about 30 mph downhill. Now that the temperature has dropped to 30 and 20 degrees, I wear a balaclava, but I have no doubt that it still contributes to my warmth. The temperature during my last trip is 33 degrees with a fairly constant wind. At the end of the trip my ears didn't have the slightest cold. They're not 100% perfect between the straps, but that's to be expected based on your setup. This is not a factor that should deter you from making a purchase.
