Review on 🚗 STROMBERG CARLSON TR-1 Tire Carrier - Sturdy and Efficient by Chris Hernandez

I bought this STROMBERG CARLSON PRODUCT - TR-1 tire carrier in 2018. Coming home from a hike today, I noticed the spare tire was loose. Upon inspection, the steel through which the bottom bolt goes broke in half. Thank goodness the other part of the trunk survived, otherwise the spare wheel would have come off while driving. There is no way I would recommend this product. I was very lucky that my spare wheel didn't come off and cause an accident. I consider this a catastrophic failure. I would not recommend this product. **** (This was my original review when I bought it in 2018. That's me. It fits my Aliner sport bumper perfectly. It seems to be of very good quality. It has a 205 75 R14 tire and he is very stable .)****
