I like the taste and might be biased due to my love of stouts and porters. Although this beer is dark, it is not too strong for anyone. If you are new to stouts, this is a mild stout. You can add other fermentables (sugar, malt, etc.) to enhance the flavor. I just wanted to get the flavor this drink had in mind. So I didn't add anything. This is a great beer for beginners, it allows you to understand the cooking time, taste, etc. No bitter beer. Sometimes you get beer that tastes bitter. This stout doesn't taste like that. Definitely a beer I want to brew again and make 5 gallons. It's perfect for my friends who want a dark beer but not too hard.
