My dad needed a phone case that he could rotate and he wanted this one with a lanyard. The case itself is quite durable and can be a case in itself. Part of the lanyard is a kind of thick round strap that looks like a rope. It is threadedly connected to the body of the phone through two rings at the bottom of the case, providing a convenient orientation when using it. While the bracelet feels solid, the rings that connect it to the case are quite thin. I personally haven't used it during the day, but the band feels a little uncomfortable and can chafe skin if sensitive. As long as the product does what it's supposed to.
