
I bought it maybe a few months before the 30 series laptops came out, but I have no regrets. I never play on the go, so poor battery life isn't an issue for me. Of course the biggest problem with a laptop will be the temperature under load, but I've only broken 70C once and that was when I forgot to close Civ before starting BF1 and forgot to connect the fan panel while playing on my lap. At this point, I'd recommend going with a 30-series laptop for free, but the Strix is king in my opinion.
