They are perfect for washing my Kia Sorento's factory alloy wheels. I've also used them on my Harley wheels, which are aluminum and painted black in places. I didn't notice any kinks or scratches on the bristles, which are quite soft at the ends. The bristles are packed very tightly into the brush head and effectively clean brake dust and dirt off my wheels in one soapy go. I've used other round brushes with coarser bristles that are sparser and had to keep cleaning the wheel. The working end of the brush head is 4" x 4", and the overall length of the brush including the handle is approximately 10". It has a smooth but grippy handle with rubber inserts and a fairly large hole at the end for hanging. They seem fine for cleaning tires and rims, but I wouldn't use them on your car's painted body. They aren't designed for this and you'll likely leave swirls on your waxed sheer coat. I tried to find some cons for this review but couldn't find anything. These are really good brushes that I hope will last a very long time.
