I use this in my 1950's Gillette Tech which is a bit nickel plated. This is the smoothest, irritation-free shave I've ever had. It's not the sharpest blade, but it shaves BBS close and doesn't irritate my skin. My holy grail is Sunrise, Astra SP, Rapier SS and they are tied to my favorite blade. There are also shark blades. You can keep the Derby, I don't need them. This is the blade to use when your face takes a little beating with sharper blades. Don't get me wrong, they aren't stupid, they do their job well and allow you to make enough passes to get a close shave without hurting you. I feel like it's a must. Classic carbon blades that surprisingly don't irritate the skin. I ordered 200r.
