Review on Sony RM-AV2 📷 Remote Controller for Sony Camcorders by Olivia Barber

It works pretty well and I don't really have many problems with it, but I think I should say a few words about the usage. The 2-level zoom is really comfortable and smooth to use. It holds up well and doesn't move. The clamp opens very wide and will fit almost any tripod you have. I have problems; The connector is an old round connector that doesn't fit any of the newer cameras - hey SONY - upgrade it! You have to buy an adapter which is expensive and bulky. Also, the record button is in the wrong place. If you put your finger on the zoom, it's very easy to accidentally hit the record button and stop recording - that's almost a reason not to buy this remote. However - I can't find another better option - I just have to be careful when using it. Let's call it a love-hate relationship I'm stuck in. Being able to easily zoom and pan at the same time without getting in the way of the camera is great and has improved my footage, but I hit the record button at the wrong time and it sucks. So if there was a better option, I would take it.
