I used the default strap that came with the Quest 2 and I was fine with that. I've heard a lot of good things about the optional Halo strap, but the price of the Oculus branded strap is pretty steep for me. At half price (with the current coupon) the Detinton strap is half the price. Putting on a new bracelet is very easy and only took a few minutes. After installing it, I finally understood why this halo strap is so much better. The rigid construction means the Quest 2 now fits over my head like a hat or helmet, with tension adjusted via a plastic knob on the back. No more rubber bands and spring bands that can get caught in your hair. I feel like the strap now also requires less tension to adjust the face brace well. With the release of Air Link support, this is probably the only accessory you can get for your Quest 2. It's such a nice upgrade from the standard harness, and the price is really reasonable.
