Great item. I think most people use it as one Sort of a vise or holder for work but I bought two to use as a door latch for a metal barn door that kept opening a little I attached them to the door so when the door was closed that lever would pull the door pulls against the top wall and closes the door tight.It is adjustable so the rubber stop and rod can be moved further or closer to the part it is attached to.These things are well made and look like they should last forever. They work great and I highly recommend them. Hope this helps.
