This is my third set of beer brewing recipes. I'm new to homebrewing and wasn't sure I would like it. Got my first gallon kit as a gift and now I'm hooked. The one gallon recipes are great, the ingredients are fresh and high quality. Pre-measured and ready to brew. I recently bought a second 1 gallon bottle so I can always brew on deck. I prefer the one gallon size in case I mess up or don't like the beer. I don't feel like I'm wasting much. So far that hasn't been a problem as they all came out fine. Speaking of the recipe itself, I was impressed. I expected the beer to be quite versatile and not particularly flavorful. Something no one will find "bad" but not good either. I was wrong. All of the recipes I've used have resulted in very aromatic beers with deep flavor and strong character. Highly recommended for the beginner or the average brewer looking for a solid set of recipes with good results.
