Anyone who has done reviews and had problems with the unit probably doesn't know how to use their tool. I had no trouble removing or breaking the screws. As other reviewers have said, be sure to use some form of lube on the bolts. I didn't have to trim the crest in the washer, but it did take some effort to line up all the washer bolts in the way. Very happy with the mounts. I haven't had a chance to use them, but on basic testing everything seemed solid.
