The pump update has "quirks " and a power plug fails after 1 charge

I always read reviews before I buy. 1 star went to people who had problems and I balance that with 4 and 5 stars. People say it doesn't work after a full charge. The trick is that you have to press and hold the power button for at least 5 seconds. Another feature is that you cannot see the display in daylight, even on a very cloudy day. My friend checked my pump and told me it wouldn't turn on so he said to hold the power button for 5 seconds, the display still shows nothing. I thought I had a bad battery until he gave me the pump and I saw a very faint picture when he tipped it. The display is so dark it's like it was never on! I had to shield the display under a towel to see anything. I used it for the first time yesterday as the weather was not conducive to paddling. It worked and it took me 14 minutes to inflate my 11' x 33' x 6' SUP. It grew from 100% to 66%. When I get home I decide to plug it in as few reviewers mention problems with less than 50% battery. It shows it was charging when I first plugged it in. The next morning it only shows 75% so I plugged it into a different outlet and it showed it was charging but only for a few minutes and then stopped. Third outlet, no charge indicator, so I figured maybe my battery wasn't holding a charge. Decided to try DC charging on my car and thank goodness it worked. I have just contacted the seller and I hope they can resolve this issue quickly. I bought this new pump so I didn't need a car to inflate my SUP and when I go to the launch pad with others. I will update if I have other issues or other features of this pump. To update. I finally got the power supply today. It was Thanksgiving when I had a problem and the salesman was on vacation then the USPS was really bad so he was stuck in North Carolina for a week. The Bickar salesman was very responsive all 3 times I contacted him. Since I had a car charger I can still charge it so I can use the pump, but another quirk is that it shows 58% battery life when turned on and 40% when charging with constant current. Since I've been waiting for my AC charger, I charge it up on the go to meet up with my friends. It takes 1 hour to get there and is barely 25% charged. Sometimes I row 3 days on a long weekend and it doesn't work at all just using the power supply, so hopefully the new power supply doesn't break again. I'm now wondering about inaccurate battery readings.

Cons
