I love its trendy look and feel. It's like a giant Apple Watch crown and the time is set by turning this ring. This is on my espresso machine for testing shot times ≥ 40s. Advantages 1. Backlight. It has good contrast and is much easier to read than a traditional LCD digital display 2. Intuitive operation. The rotating ring for setting the timer is ingenious. No more loud clicking. 3. Handsome. I think my espresso machine looks cooler now. Disadvantages 1. It takes some practice to get used to the ring controls.
