Just a little background I work as a shore crane mechanic on industrial ships. The product was ALMOST identical except the inner cog was 2cm longer and didn't allow the hub spring to fully seat. The hub lasted about 20 minutes and then popped out. If the selector switch is then rotated, it also disengages. The hub didn't lock up on my front axle and was able to switch to 4WD mode, but it would certainly loosen when driving on the freeway. Just an ordinary Chinese product that failed quality control.
