Good size. My chest is 38-39 inches and it fits with enough slack. I bought it because everyone was talking about how well wool heats up. This may be true in cold climates, but when the temperature is above 80 F it's as hot as any cotton top worn under a shirt. The main advantage over cotton is that it dries very quickly. I rinse in warm soapy water, rinse again with clean water, wrap in a large towel to wring out the water, hang and dry overnight! Great when I'm doing 4 day tube work trips! Be careful, it gets dirty very easily! One star is deducted because all the talk about thermoregulation is advertising and a synthetic shirt is easier to care for.
