Good size. My chest is 38-39 inches and it fits with enough slack. I bought it because everyone was talking about how well wool heats up. This may be true in cold climates, but when the temperature is above 80 F it's as hot as any cotton top worn under a shirt. The main advantage over cotton is that it dries very quickly.
