Review on πŸ’‘ Efficiently Convert GU24 to E26 or E27 with the JACKYLED Adapter by Tony Suggs

Revainrating 1 out of 5

3 out of 4 adapters worked.

3 out of 4 adapters worked, no 1 star. But the latest adapter seems to have shorted out some of the wires on my chandelier, or maybe just the base that the bulb is plugged into. The two I used with a bad adapter won't turn back on. At first I thought the bulb just burned out or the adapter was defective. But when I used the original bulbs, they wouldn't come on either. And before you tried the adapter on, they worked perfectly. So now I have to call an electrician to check the wiring. I also need to check if it is safe to leave the chandelier on for a long time as I know two bulbs can short out. I don't want to burn down my house. Well, I'm sure my switch in the dining room will (hopefully) prevent that. If the electrician can't fix the wires, I'll have to buy a new chandelier. I have a chandelier with only 3 working bulbs! In general, it was only necessary to buy light bulbs with a GU-24 base, and not these. I'll probably end up spending over $200 on an electrician. And if I have to buy a new chandelier. Well, I hope that only the lamp base needs to be replaced and that the cables are ok. Lesson learned.
