Review on Efficient GE 16466 Under Cabinet Light Fixture: 18 Inch Warm White, Plug-in, Plastic Housing, Perfect for Kitchen, Office, Garage by Brandon Woods

This is for a fluorescent lamp. I'm not very happy with this out of the box for several reasons. First, it's cheaply made. It's not nice to say about GE putting their name on this product. Here's what I particularly dislike: 1) It's a sealed unit. The bulb is not replaceable so it's molded right into the plastic, although the wrong instructions say it's replaceable, the plastic over the bulb isn't removable so unfortunately this is more of a one-off thing 2) Yes, wrong instructions, it is intended for another product. 3) The mounting holes are shaped so that they can only be mounted in certain directions. For example, it's vertical with the cord down instead of up. Okay, the holes look like this: O= although I would prefer if they were like this: =O=. You can't see it in any of the pictures on the website. If I had known that, I would have gone with something else. If I had known it was so cheap and disposable I would have gone for something else. It's impossible to say anything about it until it's cut from a plastic shell.
