This is a wireless intercom set with 4 headsets. The set consists of a master headset and 3 remotes. The headsets all have speakers over the left ear with volume control and A/B channel buttons. The microphone is on a boom and can be muted by simply lifting the boom. The headsets are powered by rechargeable lithium batteries. A total of 8 batteries are included with the set so that there is a spare as well as a duty battery for each headset. Also included is a bulk charger that holds all 8 batteries. A single charge lasts 6 hours. The signal from the headsets carries 1000 feet.I am quite impressed with the performance of this system. It enables instant handsfree communication across our entire team. The 1,000 foot distance covers just about all we need, but we have also set up a relay for times when we needed to communicate a little further. Pairing and usage is quite intuitive, and muting is simple—just lift the boom on the microphone. The headsets are quite lightweight and they fit securely. They make race days go so much smoother, since we don’t need to juggle phones with our hands or deal with funky phone signals. Overall, this is a great choice for handsfree team communication.
