Ideal for restoring an old 12V drill by replacing the old NiCd battery with three 18650 Li-Ion batteries
The old Black Decker drill works with 12 V nickel-cadmium batteries The drill still works, but the old batteries became weak and could no longer hold a charge. I took out the old NiCd batteries (10 in series) and replaced them with three 18650 Li-Ion batteries with a "3S 18650 BMS". Now the old drill works great. An old drill with a lithium-ion battery is even lighter than before.
