I couldn't have done what I did today without this item. This speeds up the process by several hours. Definitely worth your money! DO NOT purchase the vise version unless you have a meat block/wooden rack/table that is less than 1 1/2-2 inches. I thought this would work better but with my quartz I had to improvise and use cardboard underneath to keep it from scratching and it made it a bit loose/wobbly. But that's my fault. I should have just bought one with a suction cup and still could. I would have given 5 stars but the handle kept falling off. On the other side there should be a nut in two places to hold the parts better.
