I bought this machine to cut paper and cardboard letters for my bulletin boards. I haven't had much success with the original blade so far. I bought a deep cutting blade and it worked better, but I didn't need to buy this blade as the original blade was meant to cut paper. Now I've found that my original blade doesn't cut the vinyl completely (the font is very small so I'm wondering if it has something to do with it). I bought a new thin blade and will see if that is the problem. I don't think my original blade shouldn't be dull just yet as I've only used it a couple of times. I spent more money than I wanted and I'm not sure if this car was my best buy. I've made a few things with vinyl and I love them, but I didn't buy it for vinyl projects. There was no instruction manual in the box so I have to watch a lot of youtube videos to learn which is time consuming. I wanted to love this car but I need more time.
