I bought these for our RV and almost immediately after that our tent decided to leave the car on the highway. It was a loud, scary moment as the thing wrapped around the guard rail and almost hit the side of my van. The first day of a three day hike and help was nowhere to be found. Luckily the Good Samaritan who knew his RV finally stopped and asked if I had a bungee. Well yes I have. With these little ones, we were able to attach the tarpaulin to the camper again despite the damage and off we went camping. It's a tough job for a bungee cord, but they worked great. I've used them many times since: a trip to Canada, tying SUPs to the back of our rig, many day trips and a few more hikes. You have never let me down. I like the variety of sizes and colors which makes it easy to find the right bungee. Was a bit stunned to read from other reviews on here that they weren't made in the USA as one of the reasons I bought them was the history of the company so I took a star off for that but they have some withstood tests. Extreme conditions so I will definitely buy them again if the need arises.
