Review on GE WD15X10014 Authentic Dishwasher Water Inlet Valve - Genuine OEM Product by Yung Kitamura

Bought for my GE GDWF150R30SS dishwasher. Removing the elbow from the broken part was a big problem and I ended up damaging the threads. It takes a lot of torque to loosen, it may need to be wrapped in a washcloth. Took the knee to the ACE hardware store and a very helpful gentleman found an exact replacement. Putting a knee in a replacement valve is just as painful (don't forget the Teflon). Do yourself a favor and tighten it before connecting anything else. If it feels like it can't go any further, it needs one more turn or it will leak. Note the orientation, it should be at 90 degrees to the hose. The mounting bracket is threadless, but no special tools are required. Just tighten the original bolts (hope you kept them as there are no bolts in the valve) with a ratchet wrench before connecting anything else - much easier this way as the space is pretty tight unless you pull out the dishwasher and don't turn around it.
