2 weeks and the first one broke.
The anchor end of the spring has been changed from thin plastic to much stronger metal (it's fair to say heavy duty springs create a lot of tension). However, the cord has plastic fittings at each end. The first one broke here (at the end of the dishwasher door). Just waiting to see how many more dishwasher door openings we get before the second one breaks on plastic hardware - simple mechanics and strength of materials, folks, and while you save money by making plastic parts that don't hold up, you miss regular customers.
