This is my third projection screen, so I have some experience. The screen material is very thin, like flimsy plastic. There were many cracks during assembly but luckily they were all hidden behind the frame and don't affect the picture. The velvet on the frame has imperfections that don't go away, streaks similar to the lines you get when vacuuming carpets, except they don't go away. It looks and feels cheap. The included brackets hang about an inch off the wall for some reason. I've never seen anything like this. I don't like it and I don't understand why anyone would want their screen to hang an inch off the wall. In the end, this is a cheap screen. If that's all you can afford, then it's a solid purchase and absolutely a step above a textured wall. I won't be returning it, but I'm sorry I didn't spend a little more and I hope you probably do, too.
