This air purifier has two major flaws and one minor one. A small gripe is the noise of the fan itself. That's something I tend to overlook: it's pushing out a lot of air. The two main downsides are the electric or motor hum when running, especially at low speeds, and the insanely annoying whistle/wind noise around the loose front grille as mentioned. other reviewers. These noises make it unsuitable for a bedroom, living room or office unless you have a hearing impairment. Otherwise, the device is quite attractive and easy to use. I could squeeze in enough foam to stop the whistling, but I don't want to start re-soldering capacitors on a new, expensive air purifier, so I decided to return it.
