INSTANTLY change your dog's behavior!

This leash lies well in the hand and is VERY well made. My "wild" chewed through her nylon harness-like leash while I paid and chatted briefly with her barber. A slippery leash isn't a problem unless I let it slack and/or don't pay attention to it when wearing it for long periods of time which just doesn't happen. The best thing about a glide leash is that it instantly calms your dog down and makes YOU the alpha animal. You'll be amazed when you see the instant difference in your overall attitude! My little fur wants to go everywhere at breakneck speed, but this glide leash is definitely a game changer. It should bounce just under your dog's jaw, but without enough upward force to get him on his tiptoes. If you are not sure, go to YouTube and watch the dog show video. You will see how the processors use their leads correctly. You'll find that they use fairly thin wires, much like a cable, since the training phase is mostly complete. It is for control only. This keeps the dog's attention focused on the task at hand and gives the handler complete control, but with kindness. Choke collars with prongs on the inside (think of a "crown of thorns" around a dog's neck) should be used as a last resort and only when handling/training/testing a very large and potentially aggressive dog. Gliding leashes are an everyday humane alternative for pet parents to control and guide their furry pets while learning to walk properly, "follow" and keep 100% of their attention on other activities and goals. If you don't know what to use, I recommend doing some research on the different leashes and leashes on the market. Find one that is the right gauge and length, yet offers your dog maximum comfort and is most effective for the tasks you are trying to teach him. It starts with you. Let your dog know that you are the leader of the pack and that you love them.
