Strange Defect - Power Tool Parts & Accessories

Will not work when reassembled according to the original parts diagram. The locking ball does not hold the bit properly in the drill chuck. You should use the larger C-clip on the bottom of the black pad to grab the retainer and push it down as you insert the bit. According to Dewalt, this device shouldn't work like that.
