I read the 1 star reviews after noticing something was wrong, and I confirmed my suspicions: the net is indeed shorter than it should. I am able to see this given that in the most loose position, which is, no tension manually added, the net is almost ripping appart. If it were only that the net is tense, it wouldn`t be an issue, but as you can see in the photos, the tension is such that the height is increased to over what it should be. I have used a pair of the plastic-covered metal wires normally used to seal bread bags to pull the net down to the right height and it works fine, but If it were a table that I needed to constantly assemble and disassemble, this net would make my life miserable. If you too have bought the net and find it short, try first setting it in the posts first and between 2 adults stretch it as much as you can while you put the clamps, mine didn`t break, yet.
