I know some people have had experience with mismatched mounting threads on their Blue Yeti. I was pleased that my new damper fits perfectly into the mounting hole on my recently purchased (October 2020) Yeti Blackout Edition microphone. The shock mount was strong enough for a heavy mic. The elastic is quite tight and I'm wondering how well it will isolate vibrations - although I can't test that because I hated the Blue Yeti (cutout) and sent it back. So I sent this shock back - and another reason for my 5 star rating is that they accepted the return, no problem.
