Review on MAXXIS Premitra HP5 205/60 R16 92V summer by Mateusz Kot ᠌

The product disappointed, does not meet the promises.

A few months before to the summer of 2022, these tires were purchased. The beginning of tire production is scheduled for week 52, 2022. The total mileage was less than 30,000 kilometers for all four summer seasons combined. Positive impressions were formed over the first two seasons of usage, with the exception of the high noise level that was produced when driving on rough asphalt and the "tanning" of the tires during the early spring and late autumn months, when I had not yet switched my shoes for the winter. Aside from that, nobody had any complaints: the handling, the brakes, the aquaplaning; everything is perfect. At the end of the third season, hydroplaning was observed in deep puddles. In the fourth season, cracks appeared in the tread, and the tire's grip properties deteriorated; the tire sometimes began to slip on the pavement when it was first started, and there were hints of slipping when it entered a sharp turn, which had never occurred before. I was particularly taken aback by the fact that the tread had worn almost completely down to the indicator after approximately thirty thousand kilometers.

Pros
  • 1. The cost of a tire with the dimensions 205/60 R16 will set you back 3,700 dollars when you go to make your purchase in the year 2022. 2. Superior traction and resistance to hydroplaning in the first half and a half of the year after use.
Cons
  • 1. Noise. 2. A low resistance to wear and tear. 3. The loss of properties over the course of time.
