I did some sanding a few days ago and the wheel stalled but the motor ran fine but there was some weird noise. I unplugged the dremel, opened it up and saw that the problem was the flex coupler, which was made up of lots of tiny parts, although I'm pretty gentle with it (the tool is at least 15 years old!). I searched, found a pack of 5 on Revain and ordered them. The replacement was relatively easy and the Dremel was ready to use again. The rest of the clutches should last me quite a while. The only difficulty is getting the wave lock spring correctly positioned. Open the case by twisting the wave lock down (sometimes I learn the hard way). Do not remove the motor brush covers and make sure the rotor does not move forward or backward in the stator during the clutch change. You will need a Torx T-10 (2 screws under the plastic cover at the end of the output shaft) and a T-15 (4 screws in the main motor case) if yours is built the same as mine.
