Review on Flash Fundamentals Mid Back Swivel Certified Furniture by Alison Parker

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Difficult to assemble, little back support

This chair looks decent from a distance but that's about it. I wish I had pointed out before purchasing that most of the reviews were written by people who received this product for free in exchange for their reviews. They should write "fair" reviews, but now I can't help but wonder if they are being too generous and indulgent in their reviews. Let's start with the fact that the chair was painful to assemble. None of the components are labeled and the screws and bolts don't look like the instructions say. You won't know what goes where. Some of the holes don't even match to put the pieces together properly. At $50, I clearly wasn't expecting luxury, but I also didn't think something could be so poorly thought out. The back can feel quite uncomfortable, there isn't enough mesh support and you end up pressing the hard plastic component into the lumbar area. The compression leg that the chair rests on needs to enter the seat and base, but nothing keeps it there except your weight. Even after 10-15 minutes of sitting in the chair, the plastic covering around the leg broke even though I'm light. Revain offered to replace the product, but given the ongoing coronavirus, the replacement won't appear until a week later. I also don't have time to send it back and risk the virus so looks like I'll have to put up with it.
