Not sure if it's the shape, size, type of glass or a combination of all three but I have used these glasses to make candles for my shop. Luckily I only made a small batch and was able to remove them from my website before they got into customer hands as all the ones I tested cracked and broke from the heat. For some reason, even though the wicks were perfectly centered when they were made, they moved out of the way after they were half burned. I'm very disappointed because the shape was very attractive, but maybe the problem was in the shape. I have worked with other banks from other companies before and never had this problem. Buyers should be careful when using these jars to make candles.
