Was skeptical after reading some of the reviews about canned jam. I've researched many hours and have been able to 100% vacuum seal every jam jar I've made! Adorable glasses and perfect size.

I absolutely love them. I've ordered them about 3 times now and still love them. I just ordered a 10 ounce box and it's amazing. I love making candles out of it. I will definitely buy again and again. I recommend any size you want. Will not be disappointed.

I bought these jars to use for honey. I had a large 5 gallon tub and decided to use these jars for gifts to friends and family for the upcoming holidays. The pots are good and heavy. I had to boil the jars because the honey crystallized a bit and they came out nice. The golden lids are beautiful. I wish they had come with tags but the price was very good and I will be ordering more.

The opening of the can does not correspond to the standard "ball" size. It is too small for any standard can hopper; So filling the glass is a freestyle. not very good with melted hot jelly. Aside from not being able to use a canning funnel, the lids aren't tight enough for me to feel safe using them for edible gifts. There is no pop-up center in the lid to know if the (bain-marie) jug is properly closed. If you make candles or bath salts, you will love them.

These glasses look very attractive and I like their shape. But it seems that gold jar lids were made for jars of different sizes. Some of them fit well and some don't - they are too small. The lids don't even rotate a full turn to close them, making them more vulnerable than other sealed glass containers. Also, gold caps are very thin and easily scratched. They should be used for "jam, jelly" and have "waterproof sealed lids". The bottom of the second glass I poured the hot jelly into cracked and squirted the hot jelly everywhere. The lids didn't fit the jars properly at all and came off with every movement - again hot jelly was spilled everywhere.
