I have used this sharpening stone on scissors, pocket knives, fixed knives and chisels. On the 400 side it's just abrasive enough to remove nicks from the blades and cause burrs, and the 1000 makes a sharp hairline on everything I've used it for. I ended up ordering 3000/8000 from the same manufacturer Keenbest to keep the polished look of the blade and it works great on a knife that has already gone 1000. But if you just need a stone to repair, repair or maintain the blades, this would be them.
- This white corundum whetstone sharpens faster and sharpens itself well. When grinding the white alumina whetstone, new edges and corners are created very quickly, and the self-sharpening property is good. Therefore, dressing of the grinding wheel should be performed seldom, and work efficiency can be improved.
