These brushes look similar to the ones I bought in the pack at the local supermarket. They have the same general appearance, length, width, and number of teeth. However, these combs are definitely better. The ends of their teeth are rounded enough to allow the combs to be used as is. The toothed ends of the supermarket combs were pointed and sharp and had to be smoothed down with Emory paper before I could use them. These ridges are also thicker at the shank and base of the teeth and appear to be more durable. I make them as my new standard pocket comb.
