They don't look cheap. although they actually look more like plastic. They're just the right size for a *reasonable* portion of ramen. The shape of the bowl is very convenient to store everything in the bowl. It's a round topic. I'm a fan! A pair of sets would be perfect for a dinner party and less stressful than a glass chamber. :) The fact that they're made from plant material and not all those other crappy paraphernalia most of us are used to is a fun perk too. Hopefully there will be a trend towards more of this!
