I tested this power supply with a meter. With no load, it reads about 12.5 volts. At a load of 1 ampere shows 12 volts. With a load of 1.24 amps, it falls below the permissible limit of 11.57 volts. up to 11.35 volts. The 5 ampere power supply did not fall below 12 volts at a miserable 2 amperes. Know what you are buying. It's only 1 amp. If you really need 5 amps then this is not the buy. My device did not have a sticker like in the picture. Came in a black sleeve with no serial number. And the characteristics of the output (amplifier) were painted, not engraved / stamped on the case, like the rest of the characteristics indicated on the device. I give it 1 star because I love the splitter. That's all. PROS: Would be a very very good 1 amp power supply for those who need one. I would advise you to buy this if you are going to use LED lights under the cabinet. This is a great replacement for the tiny power adapter that usually comes with them. Doesn't work with my setup as I need at least 3 amps.
