We have moved from a place with a gas stove to a place where there are only electrical appliances. We bought this product to have extra burners. It was difficult to adapt to an electric stove as I can't see the flame but I find these burners very easy to set up and use. Simmering is pretty easy once you know the heat level to match the controls. Water boils fairly quickly and these burners seem to adjust to the heat reduction even quicker than our regular stove. Easy to clean, looks and works great.
