It actually doesn't get as hot as the burner should. It can take up to 45 minutes to boil enough spaghetti water for one person. But easy and inexpensive. easy to use, it will get the job done eventually.

Terrible product. The little burner doesn't even get hot. Tried to return it but couldn't stick to the burner and a half and now the big burner just doesn't work and has been in use for less than 6 months. I should have just saved my money and bought that piece of crap that Walmart has for less.

It was difficult to adapt to an electric stove as I can't see the flame but I find these burners very easy to set up and use.
