These picks look and feel good. (I also have similar products from the same company.) There's no rim, so I guess if you have too much sauce there's a risk of it overflowing. As I wash my dishes by hand, these plates are also a bit harder to hold when scrubbed with a sponge due to the lack of lips. Regardless, I have yet to drop the record to see how durable it is. The plates are dishwasher safe so this won't be a problem for most people. Each plate is slightly different in color. I have blue panels but there are inconsistencies in the glazing process that prevent uniformity. To me, these small variations are attractive. These are ceramic plates but they weigh almost as much as some of the ceramics I have, which I wasn't expecting.
