No built-in battery
The device has a very convenient headrest bracket, which allows you to easily remove the player without removing the headrest. The side-loading motorized drive bay is also a great feature. The picture quality is also very sharp and clear. The volume is not as loud as other players and some people may need headphones. There is no battery in this device. When the car is off, so is the DVD player. It'll pick up movie watching from where you left off, but if you're looking for a player to continue watching the movie you'll have to look elsewhere unless you have a 12-volt power supply to plug into.
