Definitely recommend this player. I think this is probably the best turntable under $1000. So easy to set up. Sounds amazing. I mean the stylus alone on this turntable is half the price of the turntable and you get an acrylic disc. The player is completely silent. Even when playing with speakers on the same surface, there are no resonances. It comes out of the packaging exactly as stated. When setting up, I used the suggested settings. weight present. I set the downforce as recommended and then put it on the scale and it was within 0.002 grams. I set the anti-skate and then tested it and it was absolutely silent. When I pulled out my protractor, the cartridge was already aligned. So easy to set up and easy to listen to. If you're searching, stop now. This is a fantastic player. Very spacious soundstage with excellent reproduction of instruments and vocals. I can really understand where everyone was standing in the recording studio. I can't say enough about the quality of the Ortofon 2M Blue pickups. This is paired with a superb tonearm, spring-loaded rubber foot base and acrylic platter. It will be hard to beat this combo for under $1,000. It's very easy to set up. Like I said, just follow the instructions and you're done. You can be assured that the head body is properly aligned and that downforce and anti-skate are accurate. The amount of detail that Fluance has put into the development of this player is truly remarkable. It even comes with white gloves to keep fingerprints off the beautiful finish. The motor is absolutely silent and the speed control really works. There is no noticeable wow and flutter with this player. Even the queue lever is top notch. In fact, there is nothing wrong with this player. If this player cost twice as much, I could still justify its recommendation. You will not be disappointed.
