I gave these bits 4 stars because each bit has no size. This is a direct comparison to competing bit sets that have the bit size laser engraved on the bit shank. They also drill very well. In the video I posted you can see that I hit a small rock in the cinder block I was drilling into, but after about 10 seconds the bit broke through the rock/pebble and continued drilling with ease. This was done with a Milwaukee 18v cordless bench drill, not a hammer drill. The single drill bit photo was the same drill bit in the video after I drilled 4 holes. The carbide tip appears to be fine with no chips or visible damage. The red paint on the drill bits is mostly cosmetic as it will wear off immediately during the drilling process. Regarding dimensional accuracy, I've included a couple of photos showing caliper values for 8mm and 6mm drill bits. As you can see, the 6mm (1/4 inch) bit size is 6.79mm (1/4 inch = 6.35mm) and the 8mm (5/16 inch) bit size is 8.38mm (5 /16 inches = 7.94). mm). Both are enlarged by 0.44 mm. Decide for yourself whether this is important to you. I was able to use the next size bit when drilling a concrete block wall and it worked great for the stainless steel hardware I was using.
