over soldering and tightening. If you let them get too hot, the knob will melt and render it useless, and if you overtighten, the plastic threads will come loose. Also, you should be aware that these are hard keys. They work fine just not what I need. I'm assembling a tiny midi controller for editing right now and it just doesn't make sense to use these clocks back-to-back because they're so stiff. If you use them for applications where they are not used all the time I think they will work great!
